Beginning at tonight at 10:00 tonight I will be taking a forty day hiatus from the Internet. I feel this needs to be done because I have come to notice that I spend too much time on the Internet (most of it spent on facebook which is sad) and I don't like how big of an addiction and problem it has become. I selected forty days I believe that number is significant, ( I in no way believe that is a magical and powerful number because that is crazy talk), but no one who has read the bible can deny the significance of the number forty. Jesus was in the desert for 40 days and the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years. The number isn't and wasn't the important thing behind those two instances, God was. Jesus couldn't have made it that 40 days in the desert without God (seeing that he is God and he is unable to be without himself) and the Israelites couldn't have survived those 40 years in the desert without God either.

So I am not entering in this 40 day journey into this desert alone like I have try before and miserably failed at, but I will of God at my side helping me on my way.
